Domestic Abuse & Harassment

Domestic violence and harassment may come in many forms: actual physical abuse, threats of physical abuse, emotional abuse, threatening telephone calls, disturbances at a place of employment, stalking, and other forms of control. Domestic violence is distinguished from other kinds of abuse because of the special relationship between the persons.

Domestic abuse actions, taken prior to or during a marriage dissolution proceeding, may impact temporary and permanent custody, child support, and even the distribution of marital assets. Effective representation requires knowledge of the complexities of domestic abuse law and its relationship to custody and marriage dissolution proceedings.

Walling Berg & Debele is committed to providing all resources available to our clients. Our High Conflict Resolution Resources Center provides information and resources specific to the needs of families struggling with divorce, custody issues, parenting time and responsibility issues, child development and mental health services.
